“I’ve Wrestled In Front Of Him” Steph De Lander Speaks About Ron DeSantis Bringing His Kids To The PC Center One Random Saturday Morning

Formerly known as Persia Pirotta in WWE NXT, Steph De Lander recalled the time she wrestled in front of Ron DeSantis for his kids.

De Lander revealed this in an interview with VICE’s Australia & New Zealand outlet. De Lander did not specify when exactly the event took place.

“I’ve wrestled in front of him. I’ve wrestled for DeSantis,” she said. “I did meet him, yeah. He came to the PC once. We got called in on Saturday that Ron DeSantis wanted to have a wrestling show for his kids. So him and his family came in, and they sat front row, and we all beat each other up on a Saturday morning because he wanted to take his kids to see the wrestling.

“It is funny,” she continued. “If he becomes president, then I’ve technically wrestled in front of the president.”

DeSantis is currently running to be the Republican nominee in the 2024 presidential election which also features former president and WWE Hall of Famer Donald Trump in the running to be the Republican nominee.

De Lander was released by WWE in 2022. She has been working on the independent circuit alongside Matt Cardona as she continues to build her brand.
