Athena has her eyes on becoming a double champion.
Athena has been the face of Ring Of Honor since becoming Women’s World Champion for the promotion, and has defended the championship an incredible amount of times. Her last defense came at Ring Of Honor Death Before Dishonor, where she faced off with Willow Nightingale in an incredible matchup.
Now, it appears one title is not enough for Athena has she has her sights set on breaking Kris Statlander’s face and taking her TBS Championship at All In.
“That’s a match that I’ve wanted for a while,” Athena said in an interview with Steve Fall of WrestlingNewsCo on Ten Count. “Even watching from home before I got signed to AEW/ROH, Statlander is that woman. She’s more than a woman. Someone that was my sister from another mister when I first got here. I love Kris Statlander, and I would love to break her face and steal her TBS Championship.”

Statlander has been an impressive champion in her own right since returning at AEW Double Or Nothing 2023 to dethrone Jade Cargill and become the second ever TBS Champion.
We will have to wait and see if Tony Khan decides to put this matchup together come the end of next month in London.
