Reported Confirmation On Orange Cassidy Facing Off With Jon Moxley For The International Championship

It looks like we will be getting his matchup in the coming weeks.

Orange Cassidy made his 27th title defense of the AEW International Championship on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite by defeating AR Fox. After the match, Jon Moxley would attack Cassidy, laying him out with the Death Rider before sending Cassidy a message in a backstage promo. During the main event of Dynamite, Orange would look for vengeance on Moxley as a chaotic brawl ensued.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer broke down AEW’s plan for Orange Cassidy’s title.

Orange Cassidy and Jon Moxley are going to have a match. We know that, for the International Title. I think that Moxley is going to win the title, because Orange has held it for so long.

While there is no date for the bout, Bodyslam.net will provide one as soon as the news breaks.

Moxley will battle Trent Barretta and Penta next week on Dynamite 200 in an Anything Goes Triple Threat match.
