Grayson Waller Discusses Possibly Working With UFC Featherweight King Alexander Volkanovski

Grayson Waller talks possibly working with a fellow countryman.

While Waller is one of the more successful Australian stars in WWE, Volkanovski is quickly becoming a GOAT contender in the lighter weight classes of the UFC. Volk is currently the UFC Featherweight Champion and is coming off a successful title defense vs Yair Rodriguez.

Speaking to Ariel Helwani on the MMA Hour, Waller discussed potentially working with Volkanovski.

“I know a few years ago, I think him and (Henry) Cejudo were supposed to have a fight, and Cejudo was doing stuff with AEW. Volkanovski actually talked to the school, PWA, that I was from about maybe coming in for a show, doing some stuff so he could kind of build to the Cejudo fight, but it never came through. I was supposed to do some work with him. Now, we can just do that on a bigger stage,”

Waller competed on Friday’s SmackDown, taking on Jey Uso in the main event of the show. Waller would lose the matchup.
