Montez Ford Says A Street Profits Split Has Never Been Pitched
WWE have never pitched to split up The Street Profits.
Many fans of The Street Profits have said over the years that Montez Ford is a future singles champion, but many do not see the same potential in Angelo Dawkins as a singles star.
That being said, it appears that WWE have never attempted to split the pair up, something that many fans think is always around the corner for the long time tag team.
During a recent appearance on the Getting Over podcast, Montez Ford explained that there has never been a pitch in WWE for the team to split.
“For us, it’s never been anything that has been pitched or anything like that, but there were a couple of instances where we felt like that were teasing it a little bit. We had some backstage segments where it was, ‘Oh, the draft could split you guys’ or MVP would come up and say, ‘You should be doing this or accepting that.’ There have been instances where people have tried to come in and add their two cents and make it go a certain way, but it never led that way. Very fortunate that it didn’t,”

Currently, The Street Profits have been involved in a storyline with Bobby Lashley courting the two men, possibly for a new faction.
On Friday’s SmackDown, Lashley hooked Dawkins up with a new suit.
