Shayna Baszler discusses what comes next after she defeats Ronda Rousey at SummerSlam on August 5th.
Shayna Baszler and Rousey will face off at the event for the first time in singles competition, as its well known the pair are long time close personal friends.
Now, Baszler says she’s hoping the championship gold will be in her future, as she told News 18.
“Once I take care of Ronda Rousey, and I called for it to a fight. So I’m gonna beat Ronda Rousey at what she’s the best in the world at. I think everyone’s head has to look in my direction after that. So whether that happens in, you know, a month or a year, I think that’s the eventual path that happens,”

Shayna has been NXT Women’s Champion multiple times and is also a multi time women’s tag team champion with several partners.
We will have to wait and see if Baszler can defeat Rousey and move on to capturing championship gold afterwards.
