Chelsea Green recalls a particular character pitch she made during her first run with WWE.
In a recent interview with Sean Ross Sapp during the red-carpet premiere of the new Cody Rhodes documentary, “American Nightmare: Becoming Cody Rhodes”, Chelsea discussed one particularly unique pitch she made during her first run in the company.
“The squeaky wheel gets the grease,” said Chelsea. “Okay, like, let’s just call it what it is. I’m not gonna get what I don’t ask for. That’s also true. It’s so simple and, and people in this world there are so afraid to ask for things I am not. It might annoy people, but guess what? Here I am.”
“The nun pitch was my favorite. I wanted to be one of Seth’s followers and come out in a very nun-like, very Ivory-esque vibe. I got made fun of a lot on Twitter for that,”

Green is currently one half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions alongside Sonya Deville and is a member of the Monday Night RAW roster during her second run with the company.
