WWE had other ideas for the rematch between Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch.
On Monday Night RAW, Becky and Trish began to have their rematch on Monday Night RAW, but Zoey Stark would interfere, causing a DQ.
Later in the show, it was revealed the match would happen again, this time in Winnipeg on RAW in a couple of weeks.
However, many fans expected this bout to feature on Saturday’s SummerSlam card. Fightful Select reports that the decision was made to delay the matchup over the weekend, and it was considered for Payback.
Fightful Select learned Monday night that the Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus match that was originally planned for Summerslam was delayed. We’re told that things changed by this weekend regarding Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus, and that the match was discussed to be moved back to WWE Payback, before it was announced for August 14. The promo and match in totality was scheduled for only one segment on WWE Raw

We will have to wait and see who can walk out with the victory in Winnipeg later this month.
