MJF appeared on AEW Dynamite tonight and spoke.
From the get go, MJF once again would continue to work as a babyface on the mic, getting an ADD chant from the crowd. He would then continue, stating that he had to stab people in the back before they do it to him, but he admitted that was not the way to live. He admitted to being a scumbag noting that it is easy to be one.
He would continue the promo noting that he is not scared anymore, putting over the crowd as the reason why. He would then say he won’t change overnight but he wants to be the AEW fans scumbag before introducing Adam Cole to the ring.
Adam would make his way to the ring, without any music. Cole put over how MJF has evolved and he is becoming the guy he was meant to be, noting that everyone is proud of Max.
Max would then go on to say that he did promise Cole a shot at the title. He then brings in a contract, which Cole signed for a match with MJF in the main event of AEW All In at Wembley Stadium on August 27th.
The two would then hug in the ring and celebrated the matchup being made. Backstage, Roderick Strong threw a tantrum and was met by The Kingdom.
