Thea Hail gets revenge on her own Chase U teammate Andre Chase tonight after Chase cost her the match against Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton at Great American Bash.
It’s no secret that Thea didn’t take the loss to Stratton lightly. Hail was seen walking around very somberly throughout the episode tonight — putting no energy into the Chase U entrance that the crowd is used to seeing. The young superstar seemed totally uninterested in everything that was happening that night as a whole.
At one point in the match, Corbin had slammed Chase with a spine buster and soon locked in Chase with a single-leg crab. During this moment, it was visible that Hail was taking glances between the towel and the match — holding an internal debate before eventually throwing in the towel against Chase. Corbin caught the towel and walked up to the ringside, throwing the towel right to the floor. Hail picked up the towel and walked away entirely from the match, Duke Hudson following right after her and returning back.
Since the referee did not see Hail throw in the towel, the match then continued. Corbin was able to pin Chase and take the win against Chase U.
