Kevin Owens discusses helping others.
Owens is one of the most popular WWE superstars on the roster at present, but is currently dealing with a rib injury. However, he remains one half of the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions along with Sami Zayn.
Over the last year, Owens has become one of the best comedy acts in pro wrestling due to his meta humor and his er, idiot problem.
Speaking to Ariel Helwani of TNT Sports, Owens discussed his future in wrestling and noted that he gets more out of helping others than his own performances.
“If you had asked me this six months ago, I think I would have said, ‘I could see myself wrestling five or ten more years.’ The last few months of that, I feel it’s changed. I might still wrestle for five or ten more years, but I wonder if there’s not a place for me somewhere else, another role, as opposed to being in the ring. I definitely don’t see myself away from the wrestling business anytime soon. I get such enjoyment out of doing commentary. I get so much enjoyment out of helping other people with their stuff and seeing it work or trying to analyze why it didn’t work and figuring out how to do it better. I could probably do both for a while. I know I have a year and a half left on my contract as a performer here, for sure. I don’t know how I’m going to feel at the end of that contract. I love wrestling. I love being in the ring. Part of it is, the last two years have been so amazing. How am I going to top it? I don’t really have to top it because I’ve been trying not to wonder what’s next and what’s next week. At the same time, as much as I’m enjoying my time in the ring, I can feel it. I had a talk with Triple H about it. ‘I think I’m getting more out of helping other people than my own stuff.’ He goes, ‘Yeah, that happened to me.’ I don’t know. I say this now and might still be doing it in five years. I have no clue,

Owens is no stranger to commentary, as he has routinely featured on the desk as a guest announcer during his time in WWE. He is also notorious for helping out the people he works with, so it is no surprise to many fans that Owens puts great value in the work he does to help out his co-workers.
