At today’s DDT Pro-Wrestling SAKI AKAI 10th anniversary show in Korakuen Hall, All Japan Pro-Wrestling stars Suwama, Dan Tamura and Hikaru Sato aka Evolution appeared and confronted Jun Akiyama, Yukio Naya and Yusuke Okada after their victory in a six man tag match.
Suwama, Tamura and Sato had bought tickets to the show as Suwama had indicated he would do as he had an issue with Akiyama. The issue stems from Akiyama agreeing to participating in an Explosion Death Match when he sharply objected to Suwama wrestling in such a match back in 2017 when Akiyama was president of AJPW.
After Akiyama, Naya and Okada won their match, Suwama, Sato and Tamura made their way to ringside and attacked D-Generation wrestlers before entering the ring to confront Akiyama, Naya and Okada.
Suwama and Akiyama got into a heated verbal confrontation and it appeared that the two teams would come to blows on a few occasions but cooler heads prevailed. Suwama told Akiyama he will make him pay for his sins and challenged him to come to an AJPW ring for a Evolution vs DDT Pro-Wrestling match. It is expected that this match will be made official in the near future.
