The New Japan Pro-Wrestling G1 Climax 33 Finals were held on August 13th at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan in front of a capacity crowd.
The main event of the G1 Climax 33 Finals saw Tetsuya Naito defeat Kazuchika Okada to win the tournament and punch his ticket to Wrestle Kingdom 18 on January 4th 2024. It took two straight Destino finishers from Naito to put away Okada. The pro Naito crowd erupted when he won the match and chanted his name throughout and after the bout.
