Kurt Angle believes WWE needs to start pushing the 42 year old former Universal Champion.
Finn Balor’s WWE career was revived last year when he turned heel and joined Judgement Day, benefiting from the faction just as much as the other members. Balor has been heavily praised throughout the factions run, and has recently been a world title challenger. Many fans have felt that Balor should have dethroned World Champion Seth Rollins, but WWE failed to pull the trigger on the founder of The Bullet Club.
Kurt Angle recently spoke about Finn on his podcast, the Kurt Angle Show and noted that he feels Balor should have been the one to take the world title off Seth Rollins.
“Well, you know what? It would’ve been nice if they would’ve given him this world title. You know, I think he’s really over, incredibly athletic. He has a lot of charisma. This kid, you know, if WWE doesn’t end up doing something with him, that’s dramatic. I wouldn’t blame him if he went off and went somewhere else. I don’t wanna see him do that because I love the WWE, and I think he’s a good fit for them, but they need to start putting this kid over. He deserves it.”

Since SummerSlam, Balor’s tension with Damian Priest has only continued to rise, with the Money In The Bank briefcase coming between the pair.
We will have to wait and see if Finn can start to garner some momentum again in the coming weeks.
