Jake Crist reunited with Sami Callihan and Rich Swann at the IMPACT Under Siege event on 5/26 to take on the team of The Design, featuring Deaner, Big Kon, and Alan Angels.
Speaking to Jeremy Lambert & Joel Pearl on In The Weeds, Crist discussed his return to IMPACT.
“It was just presented to me, and I’m a worker, I’m not going to turn down any type of opportunity like that. Being with Sami Callihan was the icing on the cake. I love Sami to death. That’s my best friend in the whole wide world. He’s amazing, a great individual, great talent, even better booker. The way he runs REVOLVER, he’s a genius, he’s our modern day genius. I love Sami to death. To come back at IMPACT and wrestle with Swann and Sami, it was a dream come true. I was pinching myself, I’ve never been so nervous in my life to try to perform at a high level and I didn’t want to make Sami, Swann, or Sawyer [Madman Fulton] feel, ‘Ah, this guy shouldn’t be here.’ I had a little bit of a chip on my shoulder, had a little something to prove, not only to myself but to the wrestling world. I came out swinging for the fences and I feel a hit a dinger,” said Crist.

Sami would then continue the battle with the group up to the LIVE Against All Odds event from
Columbus, Ohio in an Ohio Street Fight two weeks later, when both men would team with a returning Fulton to complete the oVe reunion.
Unfortunately both Crist and Fulton’s returns were short-lived as they haven’t been seen since the 6/22 IMPACTonAXSTV episode when they lost to the pairing of Brian Myers and the Good Hands.
Many fans hoped this would be a permanent reunion of the group in IMPACT, but that hasn’t materialized. Sami Callihan is now teaming with Rich Swann and pursuing the IMPACT Tag Team Titles.
