Charlotte Flair Wants To Face Mercedes Mone, Bianca Belair Or Becky Lynch At WrestleMania 40

Charlotte Flair reveals who she wants to face at WrestleMania 40.

Charlotte Flair has a very distinctive character in the world of professional wrestling. With the confidence of her father and the skills to back it up, Charlotte has become increasingly more confident as her career has progressed.

Since returning to WWE a few months ago to confront Asuka, we have seen Flair be increasingly more arrogant over her skills, but with that arrogance comes a step up in opponents.

Speaking to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Charlotte named Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, and Mercedes Mone (Sasha Banks) as potential WrestleMania 40 opponents.

“We’ll see what WrestleMania XL brings, but you know what’s crazy? Think of how much better we are now than we were then. We’ve both grown so much, you can’t even compare it to before.”

“Seeing Bianca handle her position as champion for so long, watching her do the interviews, the meet-and-greets, and carrying all of those responsibilities, I’m so proud of her. I know that type of pressure. She carried herself as a beautiful example of a WWE champion. And I love her competitiveness. We’re both very fiery. Whether it’s WrestleMania XL, WrestleMania 41, or WrestleMania 42, it’s going to happen.”

Flair faced Asuka and Bianca Belair for the WWE Women’s Championship at WWE SummerSlam 2023. In the end of that match, IYO Sky would end up walking out the champion thanks to her Money In The Bank briefcase.
