Mauro Ranallo Linked With Move Back To Wrestling Announcing
Mauro Ranallo may be on his way back to announcing in professional wrestling.
The mixed martial arts announcer has commentated on some of the biggest fights in the sports history, but has also been an announcer in professional wrestling with WWE. His pop culture references, signature catchphrase and talented play by play commentating is something that many wrestling fans have missed.
Now, it looks like Ranallo could be making his way back to professional wrestling. There is a promotion on the cusp of debuting in the states that will feature Japanese Joshi Wrestlers and the latest news out of the start up promotion is that they are attempting to bring Mauro back to the sport.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Ranallo is currently having discussions with the new Japanese all women’s wrestling promotion.
Regarding the new women’s promotion featuring Japanese wrestlers, it’s debuting next month in New York but there is not a lot of info out, as we don’t have a place or location past that.
The only other thing we’ve heard is that there are talks going on for Mauro Ranallo to announce but the deal was not closed as of this week.
WON
We will have to wait and see if Mauro will accept the offer, but it seems like Ranallo will be returning to a professional wrestling announce booth for the first time since 2021 with IMPACT.
