Rob Van Dam Jokes He Should Have Kicked Jack Perry In The Head When He Met Him As A Child
Rob Van Dam wishes he’d kicked Jack Perry in the head as a kid.
Jack Perry and Rob Van Dam faced off in an FTW Rules title match on August 9th edition of AEW Dynamite, with Perry coming away with the victory in the matchup.
In a recent interview with Denise Salcedo, Van Dam commented on working with Perry and actually meeting the FTW Champion as a child.
“I met him when he was a little kid one time when we were at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, probably 2001, maybe 2002 when I was with WWE. I remember meeting his dad because he was a big star, 90210 was one of the top shows. Luke had Jack with him and he was just a little kid, that was a long time ago. I probably should’ve kicked him in the head back then, I didn’t think about it.”

Perry’s retirement of the FTW Championship is the only thing set for the August 23 episode of Dynamite.
Van Dam also noted that the backstage atmosphere in AEW was overwhelmingly positive.
