Tony Schiavone Says There Is A Lot Of Pressure On AEW To Deliver At All In
Tony Schiavone discusses AEW All In.
In the last two weeks, All In has gone from having no matches booked to having a stacked card with more still to follow later this week on Rampage and Collision. With these announcements has came more ticket sales, and now All In is closing in on more records.
On the latest episode of What Happened When, Tony Schiavone went into detail about the pressure the company is under to deliver with the spectacular event at Wembley Stadium.
I’ve seen big crowds before, but nothing on this scope. I think it has a lot to say about Great Britain and England really wanting to see AEW. Our product obviously being over there on ITV, that’s very big exposure, and that has a lot to do with it. I just hope that, every time you do something like this, even when we do these pay-per-views, even the first Grand Slam at Arthur Ashe Stadium, my first thought is, ‘I hope we deliver to the fans to make them want to see us again.’ That’s my hope and concern. I think there’s a lot of pressure on the company, to be honest with you, to deliver. Not because of anything, but because of nothing but 80,000 fans. You’ve really got to step up and deliver. I think we will. I think we’ve got some great matches, and some great matches that have yet to be announced.”
“FTR and Young Bucks against each other, to me, it could steal the show. All the stars will be there. Sting is gonna be a part of it. Saraya’s gonna be there. Of course, MJF and Adam Cole. A four-way for the women’s title. So the stars are gonna be there, and you just want to make sure that those 80,000 fans go home happy. Which is really a concern for every show we do. You want everybody to go home happy. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes they’re split, you never know. I know there’s gonna be thumbs up and thumbs down to the show after it’s all over with it.”

We will have to wait and see just how many tickets will be distributed before August 27th, but for now AEW is closing in on the record for the most attended wrestling event of all time.
