Edge Says He’s Had His Last Match In Toronto
Edge confirms that he will not be returning to Toronto for another matchup.
On Friday’s edition of WWE SmackDown, Edge would take on Sheamus, a man that was pivotal to the Rated R Superstar’s 2020 WWE return.
Edge would end up winning the matchup off a spear, sharing a moment with Sheamus after the bell on the night of his 25 year anniversary celebration.
After the show, Edge would grab a microphone and addressed the crowd, noting that this would his final match in Toronto.
“What I can say is that this is my last one in front of y’all,” Edge said in the promo. “I don’t think I can make it another full run to get here again for a match. I’m just being honest with you, but don’t let that be a downer because, man, what an experience you all gave me. I will never forget it. I will never forget it. When I’m 84 years old, and I don’t remember much, I’m damn sure going to remember this. Thank you.”

Edge also revealed that the matchup would be the final one of his deal with WWE.
We will have to wait and see what comes next for Edge and if he’ll stay with WWE.
