Full Results For AJPW Royal Road Tournament Night Two (8/21/23), Big Upset Occurs
The second night of the All Japan Pro-Wrestling 10th Royal Road Tournament is in the books as the event took place on August 21st at the Shin-Kiba 1st RING in Tokyo.
In what could be considered a major upset, the current Triple Crown Champion Yuma Aoyagi was eliminated in the first round as he was defeated by Ryuki Honda. This victory over Aoyagi may have very well earned Honda a title match down the road despite whether he wins or loses the Royal Road Tournament.
AJPW ace Kento Miyahara won his first round match against Atsuki Aoyagi and will face Ryuki Honda on August 22nd in the 2nd round of the tournament.

- Royal Road Tournament 1st Round: Ryuki Honda defeated Yuma Aoyagi (14:38) with the Final Vent.
- Royal Road Tournament 1st Round: Kento Miyahara defeated Atsuki Aoyagi (12:21) with a shutdown suplex hold.
- Royal Road Tournament 1st Round: Suwama defeated Fuminori Abe (0:24) with a Jon Woo.
- Royal Road Tournament 1st Round: Hayato Tamura defeated Jun Saito (9:16) with a lariat.
- Naruki Doi, Naoki Tanizaki & Hokuto Omori defeated Rising HAYATO, Yuma Anzai & Aigle Blanc (9:55) with an implant bomb from Tanizaki against Blanc.
- Unagi Sayaka & SAKI defeated ZONES & Chi Chi (9:56) after the Madai Fuhengatame from Unagi on Chi Chi.
- Rei Saito & Toshizo defeated Yoshitatsu & Ryo Inoue (5:51) with a triangle choke.
- Shuji Ishikawa & Ren Ayabe vs. Hikaru Sato & Dan Tamura – Time Limit Draw (15:00)
