Edge may be on his way to All Elite Wrestling.
On a recent SmackDown, Edge was able to defeat Sheamus with the spear while celebrating his 25th anniversary with the promotion.
After the match, Edge took a microphone and let the Toronto crowd know that it was his final match in the city. With this information, many have speculated Edge could be on his way to AEW.
Now, there is smoke to the fire of these rumors, as the latest reports have swung heavily in the favor of Edge jumping to Tony Khan’s promotion.
PW Torch now reports that there is a belief in WWE that Edge is on his way to the promotion after WWE rejected Edge’s demands for a new deal with the promotion.
Edge presented to WWE what it would take to retain his services, but WWE declined to meet his request. This has sparked a belief within WWE that he is probably headed to AEW and knew at that time what AEW could offer him.
