John Cena Says Bray Wyatt Brought The Best Out Of Him
John Cena pays tribute to his old rival Bray Wyatt.
The former WWE Champion has been battling a mystery illness since earlier this year, but recent reports stated that Wyatt was on the mend. However, things have now took a tragic turn as Wyatt has tragically died, as announced by Triple H on social media.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has now revealed Bray’s cause of death, noting that after a bout with Covid earlier this year, Wyatt’s heart issues were made worse, leading to a heart attack on Thursday.
Tributes to Wyatt have flooded in from across the industry, but one that stands above the rest is one of the greatest of all time, John Cena. The two men were familiar foes, facing off at two WrestleMania’s.
Cena took to social media on Friday morning to pay tribute to his former rival.
Devastated by the news of the passing of Windham Rotunda. My heart goes out to the entire Rotunda family. Windham brought the best out of me in so many ways. I’m forever grateful for the moments we shared. A sad day for all those he reached around the world. RIP.

Wyatt is a former WWE, Universal and tag team champion in WWE and has competed on multiple WrestleMania’s. He is also considered to be one of the greatest creative minds of his generation, cooking up the Wyatt Family and The Fiend during his time with the company.
Wyatt made his incredible return to WWE at Extreme Rules 2022, shocking the wrestling world.
WWE also announced that all proceeds from Wyatt’s merchandise will be paid to his family.
