John Cena is expected to make a powerful tribute to his former rival.
The former WWE Champion has been battling a mystery illness since earlier this year, but recent reports stated that Wyatt was on the mend. However, things have now took a tragic turn as Wyatt has tragically died, as announced by Triple H on social media.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has now revealed Bray’s cause of death, noting that after a bout with Covid earlier this year, Wyatt’s heart issues were made worse, leading to a heart attack on Thursday.
Tributes to Wyatt have flooded in from across the industry, but one that stands above the rest is one of the greatest of all time, John Cena. The two men were familiar foes, facing off at two WrestleMania’s.
BWE noted on X that John Cena is expected to deliver an emotional tribute for Bray Wyatt upon his return on next Friday’s edition of SmackDown.
“Expect a very emotional [tribute] from Cena next week.”

WWE also announced that all proceeds from Wyatt’s merchandise will be paid to his family.
