According to a report from Fightful Select, Major League Wrestling star Calvin Tankman is expected to hit the free agent market on September 1st as his contract with the promotion will expire.
Tankman signed with MLW back in June of 2020 and made his official debut for Court Bauer’s company on November 25. 2020 as he defeated Robert Martyr. After winning a string of matches in 2020 & early 2021, Tankman unsuccessfully challenged Jacob Fatu for the MLW World Title in March of 2021.
Tankman is a former MLW World Tag Team Champion, holding the titles with EJ Nduka which they won from 5150 in February 2022.
His last match for MLW was on July 8th 2023 as he challenged Jacob Fatu for the MLW National Openweight Title but failed to capture the gold as he was defeated by Fatu.
