The dream trilogy match arrived and it did not fail anyone at all.
The storied rivalry between both teams dates back to the days of Being The Elite when the Young Bucks coined the phrase “FTR” and soon enough, the team that they threw shots at would join AEW to show them that they weren’t the only tag team in AEW who has the highest of praises from fans around the world.
With both teams being 1-1 against each other, the only way to settle it is inside an arena full of diehard pro wrestling fans who have eagerly anticipated this trilogy for months with the AEW Tag Team Championships on the line.
FTR could not hit the Shatter Machine and the Bucks couldn’t capitalize on the Meltzer Driver. FTR hit their own version of the BT-Trigger and followed up with the Shatter Machine, but it still was not enough to pin the Bucks.
Both teams did their absolute best to outclass one another, but both teams were on their A-game tonight and showed it no matter how many times the fans expected the match to be over.
The Shatter Machine from FTR would prove them to be the Top Guys with the victory pinfall over the Bucks to retain their AEW Tag Team championships.
