Satoshi Kojima is the winner of the All Japan Pro-Wrestling 10th Royal Road Tournament.
On August 27th at the AJPW 10th Royal Road, NJPW star Satoshi Kojima defeated Shuji Ishikawa in a semifinal match and then Ryuki Honda the finals to emerge the winner of the annual tournament.
Kojima will now go on to face current AJPW Triple Crown Champion Yuma Aoyagi on September 3rd as he attempts to win that championship for the third time in his career.
Kojima commented on Twitter following his Royal Road Tournament win:
All Japan Pro-Wrestling Nagoya Tournament is over. I was just lucky to win the royal road tournament. More than that, I was just happy that I was able to fight such amazing men as Rei Saito, Takuya Nomura, Shuji Ishikawa and Ryuki Honda. And I would be happy if there were people who saw my professional wrestling and felt something.
