On the August 28 episode of Monday Night Raw, Becky Lynch had a heated battle in a Falls Count Anywhere Match with Zoey Stark that saw ongoing rival Trish Stratus sent falling through some tables.
After pinning Stark, Lynch removed her armband and tearfully held it aloft; it simply read “Bray”. This was in tribute for Windham Rotunda (aka Bray Wyatt), who tragically passed away on August 24, 2023.
With emotion weighing heavily on her voice, The Irish Lasskicker told a story of how Bray Wyatt helped her set up a table for an upcoming Tables Match for a 2016 live event and that year’s TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs event where she lost her Smackdown Women’s Championship to Alexa Bliss.

Windham Rotunda is survived by Jojo and his four children.
Becky is scheduled to face Trish Stratus at Payback on September 2, 2023, at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in a Steel Cage Match.
