Gail Kim Announces She’ll Compete In One More Match For IMPACT1000
Moments ago, while she was a guest on Busted Open Radio, Gail Kim revealed that she will be stepping back into the ring one more time at IMPACT1000 on September 9th.
Gail retired from in-ring competition in April of 2019 after she was defeated by Tessa Blanchard on Blanchard’s path to becoming IMPACT World Champion. That was sort of Gail’s “passing of the torch” at the time.
Gail’s opponent has not been revealed, but she could possibly renew her rivalry with longtime foe Awesome Kong, whom IMPACT announced yesterday will also be competing at the event.
Stay tuned over the next week and a half for the announcement of Gail Kim’s opponent.
As previously covered by Bodyslam, things announced for IMPACT 1000 so far:
–The return of Team 3D (Bully Ray & Dvon Dudley)
–The return of Ultimate X/Team 3D competing
