Orange Cassidy Confirms That “The Best Friends” Are Actually Best Friends
Orange Cassidy comments on his true best friends.
At AEW All Out last weekend, Orange Cassidy defended his AEW International Championship for what would be the final time as after a brutal battle, Moxley pinned down the broken champion for the 3 count with the Paradigm Shift.
After the matchup, The Best Friends would make their way to the ring and give the people what they wanted in an incredibly wholesome moment as Orange Cassidy was held up by his closest friends.
While speaking to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated for a new interview, Cassidy noted that he wouldn’t be able to do what he does without the rest of the Best Friends.
“I always make it a point that we’re shown together,” said Cassidy. “I wouldn’t have had that championship and I wouldn’t have been able to do what I did without Trent, Chuck, and Kris. We are legitimately best friends. Mentally and physically, we rely on each other. There have been times where I was so hurt I couldn’t lift my bag into an overhead compartment, and Chuck’s done it for me. Trent’s always there for me. Kris has literally carried me places. Without them, I’d never have been able to accomplish what I did.”

Time will tell what comes next for Orange, but for now he will look to recover after around 30 defenses of the International Title.
