LA Knight And WWE Have Been Negotiating A New Long Term Deal, WWE Have Been Waiting To Complete Deal Before Pushing Knight

LA Knight could be in line for a new and lucrative deal with the promotion.

Knight continues to be booked as a big attraction for WWE, and his feud with The Miz may launch Knight into the main event scene like so many fans have wanted for the Mega Star in the last year or so.

Earlier this year, LA Knight was absent from WrestleMania 39, despite many fans wanting to see Knight added to the card at the last minute.

However, it now looks like he may be a shoe in for the WrestleMania 40 card. That being said, now it has been reported that Knight is negotiating a new 5 year deal with WWE, per PWInsider. There is also reports that should the deal be completed, it will pave the way for a push for the Mega Star.

LA Knight and WWE have been negotiating a new long-term deal. Believed by some sources to be as long as 5 years, and that the deal is either close to closing or has already closed.   

LA Knight’s new deal was what WWE had been waiting to lock into place before going forward with LA Knight’s push.  Going forward, LA Knight will be pushed as one of, if not the, top babyface for Smackdown.

We will have to see what comes next for Knight after he was able to dispatch of The Miz at Payback on Saturday.
