After WrestleMania 39, McIntyre took a hiatus from the company and was said to be banged up physically. There were many reports about his status with the promotion, and his impending contract expiring in the next year.
While speaking to the Hindustan Times, McIntyre noted that he doesn’t plan on going anywhere else than WWE when his contract does expire.
“The internet keeps talking about my future, I guess. But my focus is on the here and now — I don’t plan to be anywhere else. That’s as much as I can give.”

McIntyre is currently in the process of working out some kinks with his new tag team partner on RAW, Matt Riddle.
We will have to wait and see if McIntyre will indeed stay where he is signed to now.
