——Countdown To Victory Road——
-Alan Angels Open Challenge
Yesterday, IMPACT Wrestling released a video via their social media Twitter account of Alan Angels talking about how all IMPACT numbers are going up and it’s been since he signed with the company.
He issued a challenge to “anybody, anywhere in the world, I don’t care. Any company past, present, or future, could be a company that doesn’t exist anymore.”
This match will take place on the Countdown to Victory Road pre-show, available on YouTube and Fite.
Who will answer the challenge?
-ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey) vs Most Professional Wrestling Gods (Moose & Brian Myers)
Ace Austin won the BTI match against Jason Hotch. Both of these teams have been in each others crosshairs, so maybe now they get a chance to finally meet and settle any issues present themselves.
ABC were discussing getting the IMPACT Tag Team Titles back last week on the broadcast, and even went as far as to say The Good Hands were “working with” the Rascalz. The Good Hands interrupted them and told them to keep their names out of their mouth.

-Crazzy Steve vs Black Taurus
Two weeks ago. Crazzy Steve had a resurgence last week when we emerged with a new entrance and a mask, which he then pulled out a fork and attacked Mike Bailey right off the bat.
Taurus made his way out and tried to stop him, but Taurus got beaten down and stabbed with a fork. Security made their way out and Steve went to the back on his own.
This week, Steve cut a video about how he feels abandoned by everybody, including Taurus who he viewed as family.
This led to a match between the two of them settling it at Victory Road.
KNOCKOUTS TAG TEAM TITLES
-MK Ultra (Masha Slamovich & Killer Kelly) vs Gisele Shaw/Savannah Evans
Last week during the Knockout Battle Royal, 4 of the participants were Gisele Shaw, Savannah Evans, and the IMPACT Tag Team Champions – Killer Kelly & Masha Slamovich. Gisele and Savannah eliminated Kelly and Masha.
Last night on IMPACTonAXSTV, Gisele Shaw showed the clip of that happening and said they earned themselves a Knockouts Tag Title shot.
The match was made official for Victory Road.
Anything Goes Match
-PCO vs Bully Ray
Last week during IMPACT’s show, PCO was chasing after Bully Ray backstage, yelling his name out loud.
Bully gets behind a big security door and then closes it on his arm, saying that he set PCO on fire because he cares about him. He’s trying to get rid of the monster and appeal/bring out Carl, the person behind the monster.
This week, Bully was about wrestling PCO because everything he’s tried to stop PCO hasn’t worked / lighting him on fire, battery acid, cinder blocks, etc.
The match is an Anything Goes at Victory Road tonight.
KNOCKOUTS WORLD TITLE
-Trinity (c) vs Alisha Edwards
Alisha Edwards participated in a 10-Knockout Battle Royal last week for a shot at the Knockouts Title at Victory Road. Alisha rolled under the bottom rope and hid under the ring under there were only 2 competitors left, and that’s when she struck.
Alisha came in and flipped both KiLynn King and Jody Threat over the top rope and to the outside to win the match and gain herself the title shot.
It was announced during the week that there would be a contract signing during this weeks episode of IMPACTonAXSTV in order to solidify the match and make it official.
Segment has Alisha throwing champagne in Trinity’s face and then Trinity taking her earrings out and grabbing Alisha and pulling her over the table. Trinity goes after Alisha pounding away at her.
Santino is holding Eddie back as Trinity sets Alisha up to go through the table. Santino disappears and Eddie Edwards comes up from behind Trinity and ends up putting Trinity through the table. Alisha stands tall over Trinity with the IMPACT Knockouts Title held up high in the air. Frankie Kazarian finally runs out and Eddie & Alisha scatter.
Will Alisha walk out the NEW Knockouts World Champion, or will Trinity add another successful defense to her resume? We’ll have to tune in to find out.
-Deonna Purrazzo vs Jordynne Grace
On Sunday 8/27 at the LIVE Emergence event, it was revealed in a video segment that Jordynne Grace would be returning to the company at Victory Road.
In what capacity she would appear was not mentioned or revealed.
Last week on the IMPACT broadcast, Deonna Purrazzo took issue with Jordynne Grace announcing her return right before the Emergence main event of herself and Trinity battling for the IMPACT Knockouts World Title, and so she issued a challenge to Grace.
Purrazzo has beaten Grace in every singles match the two have had, so it should be interesting to see if Grace can finally pick up the victory or if Deonna will remain undefeated.
-Josh Alexander vs Steve Maclin
Steve Maclin returned from injury at Emergence on 8/27 during the 4 on 4 tag team match and immediately knocked PCO down and went after Josh Alexander.
Later that week during the IMPACT broadcast, Steve Maclin said that he and Josh can finish their beef at Victory Road.
They finally got their hands on each other during a tag team match to close out this weeks show.
TAG TEAM TITLES
The Rascalz (c) vs MCMG
Wentz and Trey talked about their match with the Motor City Machine Guns last night during the broadcast.
The Guns returned fire, saying that they’re coming for the titles to be 4x Tag Team Champions.
Will the Guns reclaim the titles, or will The Rascalz have a successful first defense after winning the titles at Emergence? We’ll have to tune in to find out.
X DIVISION TITLE
-Lio Rush (c) vs Kushida
Last week, Lio Rush was talking his usual shit about Chris Sabin after defeating him for the IMPACT X Division Title and then attacking him from behind backstage a few weeks ago. Kushida walks up and holds up the “X” that he won at the Ultimate X match at Slammiversary.
Last night in the broadcast, Lio took on Kushida’s friend and partner Kevin Knight. He won the match and then held Knight in Kushida’s Hover Board Lock until Kushida came out and made the save. Rush was sending a message to Kushida.
Will Rush keep his title, or can Kushida capture IMPACT gold for the first time? Tune in tonight to find out!

-Kenny King (c) vs Tommy Dreamer
Tommy Dreamer puts his career on the line in the venue that he fell in love with pro wrestling in.
Kenny King is putting his Digital Media Title on thr line as well.
