Matt Riddle Was “Highly Intoxicated” During JFK Incident, Tried To Use WWE Status To Avoid Being Removed From Area

Matt Riddle was “highly intoxicated” during his incident at JFK.

After returning from Superstar Spectacle in India earlier this week, Matt Riddle had an incident at JFK airport in which he would make a social media post after, accusing an officer of sexual assault.

Riddle would delete the post shortly after and uploaded a new one, simply stating that he was happy to be out of the airport.

Now, we know more about the incident as Ringside News have reported that Riddle was highly intoxicated during the incident, as they spoke to an officer who was at the scene.

The officer also confirmed that Riddle tried to use his WWE status as a means to avoid the incident, after he had been asked to move areas by the officers.

Upon arrival Matt looked intoxicated and his words at times felt slowed/slurred. We informed him several times that he’s been asked to be removed from the area, to a negative response from him every time. He did explain that he was a WWE Superstar and was coming back from India after a show.

We have received word that due to the fact that Riddle is a public figure, the official report of the incident will likely be expedited.

As noted, Riddle was returning after competing on Superstar Spectacle in India.

Riddle is currently expecting his first child with partner Misha Montana.
