Matt Riddle may not be on WWE programming until WWE finish investigating the incident.
While travelling back from WWE Superstar Spectacle in India, Matt Riddle got involved in an incident that he first brought attention to on social media by accusing a police officer from the airport of sexual assault.
However, the incident turned out to be completely different as the officers were called to the scene as a “highly intoxicated” Riddle refused attempts to de-escalate the situation and the incident became physical. Yesterday WWE confirmed they were investigating the incident.
PWInsider now reports that Riddle will not be involved in tonight’s RAW taping or WWE live events over the weekend.
After the incident at JFK Airport on Saturday, PWInsider.com can confirm that Matt Riddle is not at tonight’s Monday Night Raw taping.
WWE sources have also stated that as of this writing, he is no longer expected to work this weekend’s live events in Idaho and Washington, which Riddle had been booked on.

As mentioned, despite efforts of officers to de-escalate the situation, the incident got physical. We will have to wait and see how WWE address the matter and what form of punishment Riddle may receive for the incident.
As noted, Riddle was returning after competing on Superstar Spectacle in India.
