Bryan Danielson Has “Mental Checklist” Of People He’d Like To Get In The Ring With One More Time Before Retiring

Bryan Danielson is winding down his career, and due to that, has some other wrestlers in mind for opponents during his retirement tour.

On last Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, Bryan would note that he will be retiring once his daughter turns seven in the next year.

While he isn’t expected to be completely retired then, he will look to step away from the full time schedule that he is currently on in AEW.

In a new interview with Sports Illustrated, was asked if he had a list of opponents for his final year in professional wrestling, stating that he does have a mental checklist.

“There are definitely people I have in mind,” said Danielson. “Some of them are people I wrestled years ago. Some are people I’ve never wrestled before.

“So I don’t have a list, but I have a mental checklist of people I’d like to get in the ring with at least one more time.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Danielson admitted that he has getting hurt after every match and he had taken it as a sign to wind down his career.

Bryan Danielson recently described how he believes he needed to step up to replace Punk at All Out.

Danielson is also going to face Zack Sabre Jr at the upcoming AEW WrestleDream PPV.
