Edge has been removed from WWE’s internal roster as his contract negotiations continue to stall.
On a recent SmackDown, Edge was able to defeat Sheamus with the spear while celebrating his 25th anniversary with the promotion.
After the match, Edge took a microphone and let the Toronto crowd know that it was his final match in the city. With this information, many have speculated Edge could be on his way to AEW.
Per Mike Johnson at PWInsider, Edge has been removed from WWE’s internal roster as an active performer.
Edge’s WWE contract is set to expire this month, and is expected to make his way over to AEW in the near future.
He is still listed on WWE.com on the roster as of this writing.
AEW’s Anthony Bowens recently stated he wants to scissor with Edge.
