Becky Lynch Sent A Thank You Text To Victoria After Her Match With Trish Stratus At WWE Payback

Becky Lynch had a wholesome reaction to taking the Widow’s Peak from Trish Stratus during their steel cage match at Payback.

At WWE Payback recently, Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch opened the show inside a steel cage in the culmination of a rivalry that began shortly after WrestleMania 39. The storyline has dragged at times, with the pair consistently pushing back matches with non-finishes and other reasons for the storyline to be extended that fans were not in agreement of.

Appearing on GAW with Mickie James, Trish Stratus, and So Cal Val, Victoria revealed that Becky Lynch sent her a thank you text after the steel cage match with Stratus.

“Becky Lynch actually DM’d me, and she goes, ‘Thank you so much for being part of our match.’ Of course, another tear-jerker, too. Trish, just so freaking proud. It’s incredible to see you and Mickie just f****** kicking ass still.”

‘People think you get too old to do it, and you guys are raising the bar as veterans, so I’m very proud of you guys.”

Lynch has gone down to NXT to capture the NXT Women’s Championship for the first time in her career.

In the same interview, Stratus noted that she felt like at times that the story with Lynch was dragging.
