After a bout with a double ear infection and bronchitis, Matt Riddle is expected to return to Monday Night RAW next week.
While travelling back from WWE Superstar Spectacle in India, Matt Riddle got involved in an incident that he first brought attention to on social media by accusing a police officer from the airport of sexual assault.
However, the incident turned out to be completely different as the officers were called to the scene as a “highly intoxicated” Riddle refused attempts to de-escalate the situation and the incident became physical. Over the weekend WWE confirmed they were investigating the incident.
PWInsider now reports that Riddle will be back in action next week on RAW.

As mentioned, despite efforts of officers to de-escalate the situation, the incident got physical. We will have to wait and see how WWE address the matter and what form of punishment Riddle may receive for the incident.
As noted, Riddle was returning after competing on Superstar Spectacle in India.
Riddle missed this week’s RAW due to illness.
