Both Drew McIntyre And Edge Are Far Away From Agreeing On Money With New WWE Deals
Drew McIntyre and Edge are far away from agreeing on money with their new WWE deals.
Both stars are both in the midst of talks with the company, with Edge’s deal about to expire soon.
On a recent SmackDown, Edge was able to defeat Sheamus with the spear while celebrating his 25th anniversary with the promotion.
After the match, Edge took a microphone and let the Toronto crowd know that it was his final match in the city. With this information, many have speculated Edge could be on his way to AEW.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, negotiations between Edge, Drew McIntyre and WWE are similar to Jade Cargill’s negotiations with AEW.
“It’s the same thing (as Jade Cargill & AEW being apart on money) with Edge and (Drew) McIntyre. Not that those deals are dead in WWE, but they’re not close on money and that’s where it stands”
Dave Meltzer
Edge’s WWE contract is set to expire this month, and is expected to make his way over to AEW in the near future.
He is still listed on WWE.com on the roster as of this writing.
AEW’s Anthony Bowens recently stated he wants to scissor with Edge.
