Pat McAfee says Michael Cole is the greatest play by play announcer of all time.
On Friday Night SmackDown, Pat McAfee returned alongside The Rock in an incredible moment that shocked many fans.
In the segment, The Rock would verbally dress down Theory, before hitting him with The People’s Elbow.
In a SmackDown Exclusive, McAfee commented on Michael Cole, who was on the call for the moment. McAfee noted he’s the greatest of all time at play by play.
“I love it. He always has to be the buttoned-up guy, doing the play-by-play, which he is the greatest of all time, bar none. I understand there’s a conversation for sone other people, but they haven’t been paying attention close enough. What Michael Cole has done throughout his career at the WWE is second-to-none. But now he’s got a little attitude, a little spice, a little personality. He looks unbelievable. I’m incredibly lucky that I got to work with Michael Cole, and I am still very confident that it will happen again,”

We will have to wait and see if Pat will return to the announce booth any time soon, but he certainly wants to work with Cole once again before he does call it a career.
