Last Friday, Laredo Kid took to his social media to share the story on his Instagram account.

Laredo Kid suffered a gruesome intestinal injury in October of last year and it was unknown IF he would ever be able to step back into the ring. He managed to do so in March of 2023, much to everyone’s surprise.

In fact, Laredo Kid finished #124 on the Pro Wrestling Illustrated Top 500 list. This is quite the feat considering he was out of action for a few months of the consideration time.

Laredo Kid’s most recent IMPACT match came on the 8/24 IMPACTonAXSTV episode, in which he lost to The Design leader, Deaner. Laredo Kid is also scheduled to be one of the participants in the “Feast or Fired” match this Thursday for night 2 of IMPACT1000.

Will Laredo Kid come out victorious and walk away with a briefcase and either a future title shot or be “fired”? We’ll have to tune in to find out.
