The Rock comments on the incredible WWE-UFC merger.
On this past Friday’s SmackDown, The Rock would make his explosive return to the WWE to confront Austin Theory.
In the segment, The Rock would verbally eviscerate Theory, leading a round of “you are an asshole” chants that lasted quite a while, leading to Pat McAfee remarking that the show is only two hours.
Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, The Rock was asked whether he ever thought he would see the day when Vince McMahon would sell WWE.
“We go way back. No, I never thought he would sell the company but I’m not surprised because he’s always about big picture, he’s always about growth. You think about where he’s come from, from his first WrestleMania to now what the company is valued at, and this merger is really incredible,”

Before his return, the Rock would speak on The Pat McAfee show, where he discussed the rumored plan for him to face Roman Reigns at this years WrestleMania, while he also confirmed he has interest in competing at WrestleMania 40.
We will have to wait and see how things go down in the lead up to WrestleMania 40 and if we will finally get the huge spectacle that will be Roman Reigns vs The Rock.
