AEW has slowly been expanding the number of PPV events they have been holding over the last couple years, and it appears that they have plans to add more.
It was reported recently via Andrew Zarian that AEW is planning on expanding to 12 PPV events a year. While speaking to sources it was also confirmed to me that AEW will be moving to a monthly PPV schedule.
Additionally, I was told that AEW has been discussing holding another PPV this year after Full Gear. While this is not set in stone, discussion has gone as far as December 29th, 2023 being the potential date for the company’s 8th PPV this year.
We will keep you updated if we hear anything more about AEW’s potential December PPV event.
