Exclusive: AEW Have Secured 5 Minute Overrun For Tonight’s Dynamite: Grand Slam
AEW have added an extra five minutes to tonight’s Dynamite.
Tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite is an incredibly stacked event as Arthur Ashe Stadium once again plays host to Grand Slam. Multiple championships will be on the line, including the AEW World Title when MJF defends against Samoa Joe.
With such a big show comes the possibility of running out of time, however Tony Khan and AEW have prepared accordingly for tonight’s event.
AEW sources have told Bodyslam.net that there is a five minute over run planned for tonight’s Dynamite on TBS, with the show now ending at 10:05 EST. This is not uncommon for AEW, but usually the overruns occur due to the show running out of time, as any live program runs the risk. However, a planned overrun suggests a greater plan.
We will continue to keep up to date with any other significant changes to tonight’s AEW: Grand Slam spectacular so make sure to stick with Bodyslam.net as the night progresses.
Other title matches set for tonight include Eddie Kingston vs Claudio Castagnoli for both the ROH World Title and NJPW Strong Openweight Title, Saraya vs Toni Storm for the Women’s World Title and Jon Moxley vs Rey Fenix in a grudge match with Moxley’s newly won AEW International championship on the line.
