Wrestling Fans Furious After Antisemitic Sign At AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam Goes Viral
Wrestling fans were not pleased by the the men in the front row holding an antisemitic sign.
MJF’s character has been through a lot, but the man behind the gimmick has been through so much more. Max has been more than vocal about his encounters with bullies and dealing with antisemitism as a child and teenager. One story Max has commonly told is one of where he had quarters thrown at him by bullies in an attack based on a bigoted stereotype.
In Max’s home field at Arthur Ashe Stadium, MJF was able to defeat Samoa Joe to retain the AEW World Title. However, there was one fan who crossed the line with their sign for the event.
OrangeCrushArt on X posted a photo during the event of a fan holding a sign that told MJF there was a quarter below it.

OrangeCrush would also add that despite security using a lot of force to remove an unruly fan, they simply politely took the bigoted sign from the “fan.” Our own Cassidy Haynes did not see the man with the sign for the rest of the night, while the rest of the mans party stayed for the remainder of the show and the taping of Rampage.

After this post, many fans would take to the replies to express their anger at the sign.
Hopefully this sign will lead to stricter security when it comes to signs at AEW event to avoid this situation happening again.
