WWE RAW Could Move From Monday Nights As Part Of TV Rights Deal

WWE RAW could move off of Monday nights.

Since the shows inception, it has aired on Monday Nights and while the show has differed in length, there has never been much consideration for the show to move off of Monday Nights.

With SmackDown’s TV rights deal locked down from 2024 to 2029, now the attention turns to Monday Night RAW and NXT, and now we know more details.

The Sports Business Journal now reports that NBCU is the favorite to acquire the rights to RAW, and that the show could be moved to another night as part of the deal.

NBCU is considered a front-runner to renew its WWE RAW deal. Other companies have engaged in talks, including Disney and Amazon.  Sources say there is potential for RAW to move off of Monday nights as part of a new deal, though nothing has been decided yet.

We will have to wait and see where RAW will end up when WWE secures a new TV rights deal for its top program.
