AEW WrestleDream Attendance Currently “Lowest PPV Audience Since The Pandemic”
WreslteDream attendance is not doing well.
The event is the latest PPV to be debuted by the company and will serve as a tribute show to the late Antonio Inoki on October 1st, a year to the day that Inoki passed away.
Several matches have been booked for the show already, including Bryan Danielson vs Zack Sabre Jr, Swerve Strickland vs Hangman Page and Aussie Open vs FTR.
According to Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the event has sold 5,005 tickets and “ it looks to be the lowest PPV audience since the pandemic.
According to WrestleTix, the event is currently set up for 7,566.
We will have to wait and see if AEW can start selling more tickets for the event, with the success of MJF’s media campaign prior to AEW: Grand Slam.
