Dominik Mysterio comments on Mustafa Ali’s WWE release.
Ali has had a rough go of it over the last few years in WWE. While there have been attempts to bring him onto television, the ball has been always been fumbled for Ali’s big moment. This could be attributed to him requesting his release from the company in January of 2022.
Yesterday, Ali confirmed that he had been released by the company at long last. Prior to his release, Ali was scheduled to challenge Dominik Mysterio for the NXT North American Championship at No Mercy later this month.
Dominik offered some comments on Ali’s release on the In The Kliq podcast with Baby Huey.
“Yeah, you know, it’s a very unfortunate situation that very talented people have to go through situations like this. At the end of the day, it’s out of our control. We just do whatever we can to put our best foot forward. But as far as No Mercy goes, I’m just gonna have to wait and see who my opponent will be.”
