Will Ospreay calls his shot with Bryan Danielson.
Back at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2, Bryan Danielson faced off with Kazuchika Okada in the main event. Lower on the card in official match order but equally as anticipated, Will Ospreay vs Kenny Omega on the same event is many fans matches of the year.
Speaking to Tokyo Sports (via DeepL), Ospreay was asked which match between the two was more exciting.
“Which match at that event was the most exciting? Wasn’t it Ospreay vs. Kenny? Bryan beat Okada with a broken arm, and I think he was very tough. I think he’s very tough, but on the other hand, he’s injury prone. If I fight him, I’m confident I can beat him easily,”

Ospreay of course would defeat Kenny Omega in the blockbuster matchup.
Danielson is currently scheduled to face off with another NJPW talent, Zack Sabre Jr at AEW WrestleDream on October 1st.
